Temperatures have been rising to the point that scientist are claiming that New York City could become the modern Atlantis and of course the glaciers are melting. Protecting the environment and our primary forest â€Å"play a well-known, important role in protecting biodiversity and absorbing carbon dioxide emissions† (Kahn, 2011)2. As we continue to take up more land, we are pushing out the original species of that environment out, and they in turn are doing what any self-respecting species would do, try to kill of the competition as they know best.
